[it's rare that Sam lets himself vent off frustrations, and it's doubtful he's doing that as he slips deeper into the wooded area. but there's a gun in his hand all the same, a serious expression on his face as he watches a few mindless zombies go by (but he doesn't waste his bullets; he knows they're largely harmless by now).

he only stops his steps when he thinks he hears an irregular sound, turning quickly to see where it came from with the gun pointed in that direction. he doesn't say anything, eyes only searching for what caught his attention]

Does Dean know? You're still in one piece and you didn't mention me being dead on top of the torture thing, so I'm guessing no.

No—no, he doesn't know. And he's not gonna know, because I stopped. Dean ... he couldn't even handle knowing that I was using my powers, if he knew I tried that ...

[shake of his head]

It, um. He won't find out. The Devil's here ... or was here, I don't know, but she knew, and so does this angel, Gabriel. The one from our world, Castiel, can't tell.

Wow, I'm glad you've made this transition easy. Hex bags better work here. I don't really feel like turning into a giant, angelic smear.

Exactly. Which is why what was originally a hunt for me and Dean—only I left, and I don't remember that now—is just us being stuck here.

Supervision's definitely the right word to be using. I'm sure you need all the help you can get.

We, um. We didn't really have time for research.

[there's a pause, before he takes a step toward her, hands placed on both sides of her head, and then he kisses her.
